Had broken cover plate for hinge and a couple of dents in the back - only had foam packing on the bottom - need to put more foam in the box to prevent damage. Haier did send out a new cover plate.

Refrigerator is the WORST I have ever had, very cheap quality. It freezes everything, upper and lower - then temperature goes down and everything thaws. I have lost hundreds of dollars in food trying to adjust the temperature control. #1 setting is too low and everything thaws and/or actually gets warm but #2 setting freezes everything. I have been buying from Amazon for years, but this was a BAD BUY. I made the mistake of trying to keep adjusting the controls instead of contacting them right away. Amazon does not stand behind this product if it is over 3 months old. So, in the trash it goes and I will buy from a different refrigerator from a local store this time.

This item arrived damaged. The fridge had blue tape at each place that it was broken (the door, bottom, and sides), indicating that the company sent me a fridge that had been previously returned or that they knew was damaged. I was unable to return the item to get a refund, because FedEx would not pick it up. The company would not tell me why FedEx would not pick it up, but I suspect it was because there was no top on the box--although that was the condition the box was delivered to me in. I contacted GizmosforLife several times and was not helped. I had to throw the fridge out with no refund.
